Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 24, 2026

Overview

Tavolo is a desktop application that runs entirely on your Mac. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data Tavolo accesses, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Access

When you connect a Google account, Tavolo requests access to the following through Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol:

Tavolo only reads calendar data. It does not modify, delete, or create events on your behalf unless you explicitly initiate such an action (e.g., creating a Google Meet link).

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your Mac:

No data is transmitted to any server operated by Tavolo. There is no backend, no cloud database, and no server-side component.

Third-Party Services

Tavolo communicates directly with Google's APIs using your OAuth tokens. This communication is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

Analytics & Tracking

Tavolo does not include any analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind. We do not collect usage data, error logs, or behavioral metrics.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. Your calendar data, account information, and preferences never leave your computer (except for direct API calls to Google, which you authorize).

Data Deletion

You can remove any connected account from within Tavolo at any time. When you remove an account:

Uninstalling Tavolo removes all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Tavolo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Tavolo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
