Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tavolo ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Tavolo is a free desktop application for macOS that aggregates calendar events from connected Google accounts, provides meeting management features, and enables users to join video calls. The Application runs locally on your device and communicates directly with Google's APIs.

3. License

Tavolo is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. All intellectual property rights in the Application are owned by Tavolo. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application except where permitted by applicable law.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Tavolo, you agree to:

• Maintain a valid Google account and comply with Google's Terms of Service
• Use the Application in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the Application for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Keep your Google account credentials secure — Tavolo stores encrypted OAuth tokens but does not manage your account password

5. Google API Usage

Tavolo accesses Google Calendar API and Google People API on your behalf. This access is governed by Google's API Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. You authorize Tavolo to make API requests using your OAuth tokens for the sole purpose of displaying calendar data and facilitating meeting access.

6. No Warranty

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems. Calendar data accuracy depends on Google's API responses, and meeting links depend on the availability of third-party video conferencing services.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICATION OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE APPLICATION.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Missed meetings due to notification failures
• Incorrect calendar data displayed by the Application
• Loss of OAuth tokens or authentication state
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your Google account

8. Modifications to the Application

Tavolo may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, updates, or bug fixes, though we may do so at our discretion.

9. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
